With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tommie Sue Sklar in Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, who passed away on April 10, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Emile and Beau Scott of Natchitoches; her husband Sonny Sklar; and her brothers, Thomas Calvert Scott of Natchitoches, Terry Laird Scott of Natchitoches and James Austin Scott of Natchitoches.
She is survived by: her children, Louis Edward Sklar, III of Winnfield, Emee Elizabeth Governale (Nick) of Shreveport and Joseph Paul Sklar (Krista) of Natchitoches; and her grandchildren, Theresea Anne Governale, Lily Anna Sklar, Joseph Paul Sklar, Jr. and Jenna Claire Sklar.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Mary's Catholic School or The Minor Basilica of The Immaculate Conception.
