He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daniel Wooten and Joyce Wooten; his wife Ann Musick Wooten; his children, Jason Wooten (Christy) of Arcadia, Louisiana, Stephanie Graves of Shreveport, Louisiana, Melissa Richardson (Luke) of Mobile, Alabama and Josh Huckaby (Chelsea) of Bossier City, Louisiana; his siblings, Vicki Dodd of Bossier City, Louisiana, Kerry Wooten (Lisa) of Monroe, Louisiana and Brian Wooten (Caprice) of Bossier City, Louisiana; his aunt Juanita Davis of Gilmer, Texas; his brother-in-law Chris Musick of Bossier City, Louisiana; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Jonathan Lenert, Avery Graves Jr., Elijah, Halle, Ezra, Titus Richardson, Jase, Colt Wooten, Easton Burton and Addison Huckaby. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hill Crest Memorial Park (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037).
