It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Williams Cook in Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Keithville, Louisiana, who passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vardaman Williams and Lenora Williams; her brothers, Vardaman, Jr., Cecil and Tommy Williams; and her great grandchild Logan.
She is survived by: her husband Louis A. Cook; and her children, Joan Cole (Robert), Suzan Harrison (Dean) and Buddy Cook (Debbie). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
