She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Thompson and Ella Thompson (Huber); and her husband Gene Marusak. She is survived by: her sisters, Pam Schledwitz (Herb) of San Antonio and Becky O'Neal of Charleston, SC; and her stepchildren, Matt Marusak (Dianna), Shelley Greenlee (Lancie) and Frank Marusak. She is also survived by 5 nieces & their children.
Since cancer touched Shirley's life beyond her own, donations are requested to be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
