We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Shawney Ray West (Shreveport, Louisiana), born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah West and Jack West; his siblings, Mont, Fred, Barbara and Mary Jo; and his daughters, Natalie and Julie.
He is survived by: his wife Janis West; his sons, Shawney Jr. and Nicholas (Carrie); and his siblings, Jackie, Evelyn, Kenny and Scott. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ellerbe Road Methodist Church General Fund, 10130 Ellerbe Church Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71106.
