She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Harrist and Virginia Cash Harrist of Oil City; and her brother Don Michael Harrist of Longview, Texas.. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Gregory Renda; her sons, Gregory Ben Renda of Alexandria and Dr. David Thomas Renda (Kristen) of Shreveport, Louisiana.; her granddaughters, Frances Elizabeth Renda and Katherine Camille Renda; and her siblings, Dr. Terence Jay Harrist of Boston and Sue Harrist Jackson of Shreveport. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
