He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Bud Birmingham and Barbara Birmingham; his sisters, Donna Ann DeBaker and Rebecca Walters; and his nephew Robert Barney.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Locke Birmingham; his daughters, Heather Birmingham (Natalie) of Shreveport, LA and Jennifer Birmingham Lee (Will) of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren, Cash, Lane and Lily; his siblings, Robert "Bubba" Birmingham and Marion Gill; and his pet Murphy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials in his name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
