She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Fontenot and Marie Fontenot; her husband John "Jack" Eichler, Sr.; her daughter Anne Eichler; and her siblings, Curtis Fontenot, Ann Bordelon, Estelle Hoskinson, Loretta Landry and Shirley Fontenot.
She is survived by: her children, John Eichler (Sharon) and Kathy Keith. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose Neath Funeral Home - Shreveport Marshall (1815 Marshall St, Shreveport, LA 71101). A rosary was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (211 Atlantic Ave, Shreveport, LA 71105).
