He was predeceased by: his parents, Geneva Boyd and Bill Boyd; his wife Elli; his son David; his brothers, Volmer Boyd and Perry Boyd; and his brother-in-law Sam R. Cammack.
He is survived by: his son Bruce; his daughter-in-law Tina; his brother Jimmy Boyd; and his siblings-in-law, Suzy Moritz-Rawdin and Scott Rawdin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Kings Highway Christian Church, Family Life Center (806 Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71104).
