It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Joseph Edmiston (Shreveport, Louisiana), who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Edmiston and Marie Edmiston; his siblings, John Howard Edmiston and Julia Alexander; and his friend Dr. Montie Dalton.
He is survived by: his wife Tina Casten Edmiston; his daughters, Rachael Edmiston (Matthew Moseley) and Kristen Edmiston Tarrance (Morgan Tarrance); his granddaughter Murphy Lee Tarrance; his sister Linda Edmiston Strickland (Debbie Strickland); and his close friend Shep Akins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.
To celebrate his legacy, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency (LOPA) in honor of Ronnie's lung donor. In his memory, please register to be an organ donor by visiting the National Donate Life Registry at https://www.registerme.org.
