He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edwin Booth and Eleanor Estelle Robbins; his sister Mary Eleanor Spencer; and his wife Carmen Lucille Bryant. He is survived by: his children, Verien Schaffer, Randy Booth (Marinell), Teri Rumsey (Mike) and Scott Booth (Kathy). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Broadmoor Baptist Church (4110 Youree Dr, Shreveport, LA 71105). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at the Forest Park East Cemetery (3700 St Vincent Ave, Shreveport, LA 71103).
