She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Irene Oliver Smith and James Carlton Smith; her former husband Ford Russell Thurmon; her husband Larry Glenn Silvis; and her siblings, Jerry Maurice Smith, James Oliver Smith and Theresa Ann Smith Taylor (John Walter Taylor).
She is survived by: her children, Danita Thurmon Gerbrecht (John), Alisa Thurmon Hankins (Brad), Tracie Thurmon Brice (Jim) and Darrell Thurmon; her grandchildren, Josh Gerbrecht, Justin Gerbrecht, Christi Hankins Waller (Chad), Chad Hankins (Julie), Cara Hankins Bray (Alex), Katie Brice Raddatz (Scott), Keaton Brice, Alaina Brice, Abbi Thurmon, Ava Thurmon and Andi Thurmon; her stepgrandchildren, Dena Gerbrecht (Erin), Dawn Gerbrecht Kelly (Steve) and Jeremy Gerbrecht (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Wrenley Waller, Elodie Hankins, Camden Hankins and Delilah Raddatz; her stepgreat-granddaughter Lila Bray; and her sisters-in-law, Rita Smith and Sharon Smith. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins.
