He is survived by: his parents, Spencer Dale Carey and Evelyne Eickrodt Carey; his sons, Aaron Carey (Heavenly), Christopher Carey and Tyler Carey; and his siblings, Andrew Epperson, Matthew Epperson and Karen Epperson Winters. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
