With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phillip A. Robinette (Shreveport, Louisiana), born in Ringgold, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2024 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewitt Robinette and Uralee Conley Robinette; and his former wives, Kay Taylor and Sylvia Skinner. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Pope DeFoy; his daughters, Becky Pennington (David) and Rachel Garner; his stepdaughters, Holly Willis and Andrea Robinson; his grandchildren, Katie Garner Welch (Matt), Matthew Garner, Bryan Pennington (Brianna), Amy Garner Mullen (Eddie) and Phillip Brandon Pennington (Alex); his great grandchildren, Dillan, Merrick, Noelle, Landen, Finn and Brodie; and his siblings, Eudora Ebarb (Jim) and Huey Robinette.
A memorial service was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Woodridge Baptist Church (850 E Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, LA 71106).
