It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Andrew Wendelin (Shreveport, Louisiana), who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Goetz Wendelin; his aunt Audrey; his uncle Paul; and his former wife Sylvia. He is survived by: his father Reverend Robert Wendelin; his wife Virginia; his daughter Stephanie (Paul); his grandson Hugo; his stepdaughters, Patricia (Max) and Melanie (Joe); his grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb, Kade, Brooklynn, Krue and Kinleigh; his siblings, Michael (Johanna), Cathy (Robert) and John (Joanmarie); and his nieces and nephews, Laura Beth, Frank, Luke, Anna and Al Daniel. He is also survived by "dad" -- and their children.
