Briggs, Sr. and Mildred Eletta VanHorn Briggs of Trees, LA.; her husband Donald Bickham "Don" Wilson of Pine Island, LA; her son David Paul Wilson; and her siblings, Ralph Spurgeon "Bill" Briggs, Jr., Mildred Edith Briggs Doiron, Dorothy Briggs Eason Freeman and Shirley Briggs Nutt.

She is survived by: her son Donald Briggs "Donny" Wilson (Karen); her daughter-in-law Beverly Wilson Ashley (Percy); her grandchildren, Ashley Wilson Cotton (Chris), Dustin Wilson (Jennifer), Derick Wilson (Shelley), Amy Wilson Thomas (Ryan), Jason Wilson, Laura Wilson Gregg (Daniel), Lisa Bryan (James), Emma Henrie (Brad) and Percy Ashley, III (Kristine); and her close friend Mercedes Dodge Ivans of Canton, TX.. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and many friends.
