He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Rinaudo DeFatta and Salvatore J. DeFatta; his brothers, Vincent DeFatta (Betty), Sammy DeFatta and Joe DeFatta (Dinah); his granddaughter Lauren DeFatta; and his nephews, Donald DeFatta, Chris DeFatta and Adam Pinchera.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Vonell Cary DeFatta; his sons, Nicholas DeFatta, Jr. (Linda DeFatta) and Patrick DeFatta; his grandsons, Andrew DeFatta (Su), Luke DeFatta and Ryan DeFatta; his nieces and nephews, Denise DeFatta Armacost, Stacey Pinchera, Paul DeFatta, Greg DeFatta, Steve DeFatta, Mark DeFatta and Jeffrey DeFatta; and his siblings-in-law, Theda Cary, Marianne Farmer and Ernest Pinchera.
