Nelda Rea Harris Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2025, at the age of 88, Nelda Rea Harris of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband R. B. Harris; her parents, J. T. Rea and Delora Mae Rea; and her brothers, Billy Rea, Charles Rea and Michael Rea.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert J. Harris (Loretta), Glenn Keith Harris (Mary) and Gary Michael Harris; her grandchildren, Kristyn Parsons (Cole), Laramie Guillot (Jason), Mackenzie Burns (Michael), Stonie Elkins (Travis), Ashley Laliberte (Phillip), Alexis Leslie (Michael), Robert K. Harris (Heather), Katie Elsea (Daniel) and Michael S. Harris (Ashton); her siblings, Shera Peterson (Howard) and Pat Rea (Sondra); and her sister-in-law Floy Rea. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the Woodridge Baptist Church (850 E. Burt Kouns, Shreveport, LA 71106). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Weldon Cemetery.
