With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nathalene Jackson of Shreveport, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Anderson and Rena Paddie Anderson; her husband Billy Ray Jackson; her siblings, Alfred Anderson, Archie Anderson and Irene Paddie; and her grandchildren, Billy Jackson and Rosebud Hitt.
She is survived by: her children, James Ray Jackson (Irene), Michael Wayne Jackson, Narda Rose Hitt (Paul) and Nelda J. Deacon (Kevin); her niece Tracy Antee; her great-niece Rose Cash; and her siblings, Marilyn Raborn, Geniva Redding and Johnnie Anderson. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rose Neath Funeral Homes - Mansfield (943 Polk St, Mansfield, LA 71052). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (943 Polk St, Mansfield, LA 71052). A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Shady Grove Cemetery.
