She was predeceased by: her grandfather Michwich; and her parents, Elbert Duran Hauser and Dorothy McCoy (Dot). She is survived by: her daughter Juliet Vowels (Josh); her pet Vivienne Pearl; her siblings, Robert Hauser (Kim), Sheri Kyle (Bob) and Debra Hauser; her grandson Cade Coates (Bailey); her nieces and nephews, Lynzie Smith, Colton Kyle, Logan Hauser, Leigh Ann Riche, Lacey Byram, Rachel Stuckey, Amelia and Austin Smith; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Harry Smith, Penelope, Adalynne Kyle, Waylon, Ruby Jean Hauser, Reese Mae, Sunnie Jo Riche, Brady, Beau Byram, Wyatt and Weston Stuckey. She is also survived by cousins, friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (543 Ockley Dr, Shreveport, LA 71106). A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Centuries Memorial (8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, LA 71108).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, as this was a cause close to Mitzi, who generously donated every year.
