With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Drummond of Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on November 12, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Melvin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Melvin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Cowden Drummond and Dorris Snell Drummond; and his brother Ronne Paul Drummond. He is survived by: his cousins, Jackie Downs, Norma Camel, Doug Drummond and Sandra Jones.
