She was predeceased by: her parents, Olive Rogers and Cecil Rogers. She is survived by: her brother James Cecil; her husband Howard E. Sutton; her children, Hal Sutton (Stacy), Debbie Covington (C. Kenneth Covington) and Pam Shapen (Ken Shapen); her stepgranddaughter Katherine Coker; her great grandchildren, Taytum and Ashton; her sister-in-law Martha Sutton Maple; her nephews, Stan Smith, Paul Cox and Ray Rogers (Mary Rogers); her niece Diane Ward (Ronnie); and her friend Lillie Dotson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (1815 Marshall St, Shreveport, LA 71101). She worked in the family business from the time it began until Covid began in 2020 forcing change.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse (Franklin Graham's ministry), P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607 or the Noel Food Pantry, 520 Herndon St., Shreveport, LA 71101 where the family has been members for over 40 years.
