She was predeceased by: her mother Clara Moore Swain; her husband Charles Pat Thompson; her son Charles Ray Thompson; and her father Charles Speakman. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Pat Hunter (David) of Shreveport; her grandsons, William Patterson Parker (Jade) of Monroe and Charles Samuel Parker of Shreveport; her daughter Patti Sterritt Moran of Plano Tx; her brother Charles A Swain Sr. (Emma Lou Swain); her nephew Charles "Chuck" A. Swain Jr.; and her friends, Dorothy Nichols and Elinor Herd.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Arthritis Foundation, St. Lukes UMC, or the UMC Childrens Home.
