It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Nash Williams of Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Stanton, Tennessee, who passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Mary Ann Nash is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mary Ann Nash's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. William Brehon Nash of Stanton and Mary Nolen Williams Nash of Stanton; her husband Warren S. Williams; and her son Dr. Richard Williams. She is survived by: her brother William Nash; her children, Mary Grant (Tommy), Nancy Wilson (James) and John R. Williams (Roxanne); and her sister Nancy Necaise of Stanton, Tennessee.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
