We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2024, at the age of 75, Martha Jean McWhiney of Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Natchitoches, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Salley and Margaret Lynch Salley; her husband Thomas Larry McWhiney, Sr.; her daughters, Cherri McWhiney and Angela McWhiney; and her siblings, Margaret Bozeman, Janice Chance and Charles Salley.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Larry McWhiney, Jr. (Christy), Jason Kyle McWhiney, Joel Wayne McWhiney and Lari Jean McWhiney Marsh (Ronnie); her grandchildren, Thomas L. McWhiney III, Devin Mayfield, Caressa Williams, Colton Marsh, Cameron Marsh, Lariah Marsh and Lila Marsh; and her close friend Earlene Atkins (Louise). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
