It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Bryant of Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Noble Wilbert and Zaner Wilbert; her husband Hardy Bryant; her children, Garylynn D. Bryant and Chester L. Bryant (Addie); her siblings, Pearlie M. Williams, Dorothy J. Bryant and Jerry D. Wilbert; and her grandson Derrick D. Jackson.
She is survived by: her sisters, Vera Kessee, Helen Ellis (Henry) and Barbara Wilbert (Louis); and her children, Donny R. Bryant of Shreveport, LA, Janice A. Jackson (Larry) of Nashville, TN, Vera M. Bryant of Shreveport, LA and Margaret D. Rashid (Quenton) of Mitchellville, MD. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
