With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loys Dean McKay of Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Loys shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Loys farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Heavenly Gates Funeral Home (1339 Jewell St, Shreveport, LA 71101). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union Springs Baptist Church (702 W 71st St, Shreveport, LA 71106). A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the Lake Zion Cemetery (6025 Belcher Oil City Rd, Belcher, LA 71004).
