She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonelle Falgout Pereira and Abraham Leonard Pereira; her husband G. C. Black, Jr.; her siblings, Yolande Lefort, Dr. June Moore and Abe Pereira, Jr.; and her nephew P. W. Lefort.
She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Black (Kathy) of Downsville, LA, Roger Black (Lynn) of Woodworth, LA, Jon Black (Lisa) of Benton, LA and Charles Black, MD (Karen) of Shreveport, LA.; her grandchildren, Erin Larance (Patrick), Jennifer Black, John Robert Black (Jennifer) of Beau Black, MD, Hunter Black (Jennifer), Chase Black (Brittini), Connor Black and Dustin Black; and her great grandchildren, Colin, Mallory, Carson, Reese, Harper, Camille, Chloe, Henry and Louie.
