She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Clegg Hope and Lonnie Belle Hope; and her brother Barry Clegg Hope. She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Smith (William) and Regina White (Jeff); her grandchildren, Madalyn White, Garrett White (Courtnie), Anna Leigh White, Abigail Simmons (Walker) and Harrison Smith; her sister-in-law Karen Hope; and her nephews, Eddie and Herman Hope. She is also survived by her family, friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Grace Community Methodist Church (9400 Ellerbe Rd, Shreveport, LA 71106).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests all those who wish to memorialize her life consider making donations to Centenary College Choir or Grace Community Church.
