He is survived by: his grandchildren, Chad Blackwell and Bonnie Blackwell; his children, Mark and Becky Garcie; and his siblings-in-law, Billy Joe Alcorn, Frank "Edward" Alcorn (Sue), Henry "Ellis" Alcorn (Diane), Shelia Jane Daniel and Laura Evyone Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose Neath Funeral Homes - Shreveport Southside (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at the Forest Park West Cemetery (4400 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport, LA 71109).
