He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton, Sr. Procell (Slim) and Josephine Procell; and his siblings, Marvin, Lois, Louis, Daisy and Kay.

He is survived by: his children, Leonard Sharpley Jr. (Boo Boo), Bernice Sharpley and Patricia Sharpley; his girlfriend Ruby; and his siblings, Fay, David, Johnny, Clinton Jr., Bobby Ray, Bubba, James and Liz.
