She was predeceased by: her mothers, Lee Louis Berlin and Beatrice Pace Berlin; her husband Dr. David Jones; her son Leslie Jones; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Jones.

She is survived by: her daughter Amy Jones Bicknell (Eric Bicknell); her grandchildren, John Bicknell (Lee Spitzer), Sarah Bicknell Berning (Walker), Raymond Jones (Lillian) and Merrill Jones (Jeremy Owens); and her great grandchildren, Ripley and Poppy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Osborn Funeral Home (3631 Southern Ave, Shreveport, LA 71104). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. Leatrice, known to all as "Liffy," died Friday, September 27 due to complications of Covid.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Louisiana Methodist Children's Home, 904 DeVille Lane, Ruston, LA 71270 or the charity of the donor's choice.
