With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Johnson Franklin Jr. of Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on July 26, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Margaret "Marnie" Ijams Franklin and L. J. Franklin; his wife Cissie; his sons, Douglas (Gigi) and Howard (Sue); his granddaughters, Maggie Franklin Joyce (Matthew) and Grace Franklin; his great grandchild Patrick Joyce; his sister Anne "Roonie" Beach; his daughter Lisa; and his grandson Hart.
