He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth William Heft Sr. and Dorothy Heft (Moeller); his significant other Vonda Ross; his daughter Monica Vercler (Jeff) of Fisher, IL; his grandchildren, Aubrey Pettenger and Brad Pettenger (Katie); his great grandchildren, Reagan, Quinn and Sutton; his brothers, Stephen J. Heft and Jeffrey A. Heft; and his close friend Vonda Ross. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hope Building (2820 Beckett St, Bossier City, LA 71111).
