It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Jureski of Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Palestine, Texas, who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Staples and Edgar M. Staples; her siblings, Sharon Darlene Berry (Billy) and Edgar "Butch" Staples (Helen); and her niece Shelli Burns.
She is survived by: her husband William L. Jureski, Sr.; her children, William L. Jureski, Jr. (Jennifer), Joseph Wayne Jureski (Anglea) and Kristina J. Ashley (late Spike Aughinbaugh); her grandchildren, Evan, Chelsea (Alec), Aliyah, Kaamil (Abigayle), Makenzie and Sebastian; her great grandchild Brayden; and her siblings, Frances Burns (Jesse) and Larry Curtis Staples (Evelyn).
