He is survived by: his mother Nancy Howell Young; his sons, Joseph Howell Young, Jr., Patrick Ryan Young (Kelsey) and Brian Walsh Young; his grandchildren, Ryce, Madeline, Ryder Young, Connor and Amelia Young; his siblings, Stephen Young of Tempe, AZ, Cathy Newell of Jackson, MS and Janey Pettiette (Larry); his former wife Jenny Norwood (Bill Norwood); his granddaughter Tammy Tatum; and his uncles, Joe (Christy Miller), Trey, Clayton Newell (Emily Davis), Michael Anne Calhoun, Pete Pettiette (Rose Pettiette) and David Pettiette.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elk's Lodge (310 E Preston Ave, Shreveport, LA 71105).
