It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Lee Clark (Shreveport, Louisiana), born in Waskom, Texas, who passed away on April 10, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Burroughs and Susie Lindsay; her husband John Clark, Sr.; and her children, John Clark, Jr. and Debra Clark Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Shena Clark, Cecil Clark, Veronica Davenport, LaFrancier Clark and Annette Clark Davenport; and her siblings, David Lindsay, Susan Ann Wiggins, Nettie Ellis and Lula Backus. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren.
