He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gadd and Mary Gadd; and his wife Katie Gadd. He is survived by: his close friend Stephanie; his children, Shane and Christy; his grandson Hayden; and his siblings, Gary, Valerie and Ann. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
