He is survived by: his wife Betty Schmitt Lawrence; his sons, John S. Lawrence, Jr. (Pamela) of Mandeville and Douglas A. Lawrence (Vicki) of Shreveport; his sister-in-law Valerie Prater of Chicago; his grandchildren, Allie Lawrence, John Robert Lawrence, Michael Lawrence (Megan), Ashton Lawrence, Noah Lawrence, Hannah Johnson and William Gibson; and his great grandchildren, Cooper Gene, Magnolia Lawrence and Presley Calabresi.
