He is survived by: his son Harland John Cotter; his grandchildren, Gabrielle Evelynn of Lafayette and Gunner Wayne of Lafayette; his siblings, Karen Cotter Moody (Hamp) of Dallas, Lauren Cotter Wilson (Grady) of Shreveport, Michaelanne Cotter Dykes (Randy) of Dallas and Patrick Cornelius Cotter (Aimee) of Lafayette; his siblings-in-law, Roslyn Cotter Mee (Tom) and Robert Poindexter of Shreveport; and the mother of his child Debra Crowe of Lafayette. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
