He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelda Joy Wheeler and Delton Lawrence Wheeler; his brothers, Boyd Layne Wheeler and Gary Dewayne Wheeler; his niece Christina Michelle Wheeler; his grandparents, John Phlegm Wheeler, Beulah Barrow Wheeler, Floyd Gilbert Nicholson and Jessie Viola Larson; and his close friend Mindy Meshell.
He is survived by: his pets, Rusty and Tanner; his siblings, Clinton Allen Wheeler, Daniel Lawrence Wheeler (Shannon) and Chenena Kaye Martin (Ben); his nieces and nephews, Dewayne Wheeler, Dustin Wheeler, Brandon Wheeler, Trevor Martin, Suzanne Neely, Sarah Hulse and Meagan Raney; and his close friend Loretta McCarty.
The family suggests memorials be made to Feist-Weiller Cancer Center and St. Joseph Hospice-The Carpenter House.
