He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Guy Wise, Jr. and Mary Lynn Wise (Dalrymple). He is survived by: his brother Larry; his sister-in-law Betty Wise; his nieces, Janey (Joey Maker) and Margaret N. Wise; and his great-niece Jennifer Maker of Benton, LA. He is also survived by extended family and close friends.
