He was predeceased by: his parents, Teer Wimberly and Vivian Sherwin Wimberly; his brother Michael Wimberly; and his sister-in-law Rusty Wimberly. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patti" Wimberly; his brother Thomas "Tommy" Wimberly; his daughters, Candi Wimberly Jones (Kevin) and Casie Wimberly Montagne (Jamie); his nephews, Aaron Simpson (Michelle), James "Trapper" Sanders (Jindalae) and Travis Wimberly (Heather); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Jones, Nickie Montagne, Emily Jones, AJ Simpson, Eden Jones, Shelbie Montagne, Heather Simpson, Eliah Jones, Gabriel Wimberly, Jacob Montagne, Evynlea Jones, Sean Wimberly, Bethany Wimberly and Amzi Wimberly; and his great grandchild Amara Cameron.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Aulds Funeral Home Chapel (7849 E Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71115). The military honors will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
