He is survived by: his wife Renee McElroy (Calmbacher); his sister Penny McElroy Nix; his niece Savanah Weller; his daughters, Samantha Smith, Sandra Sanders and Jennie Teston; his grandchildren, Ty McElroy, Truman Sanders, Angel Smith, Jordyn Smith, Trenton Hines, Zack Britt, Logan Britt and Kylee Britt; his great grandchildren, Elaina Britt, Chandler Britt, Amelia Britt, Daisie Britt and Elliot King; his nephews, Lawrence Louis McElroy and Matthew Scott McElroy; his great-nephews, Cole and Jacob; and his great-niece Maggie McElroy.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Cemetery.
