It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Willard Sartor Jr. of Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Moore Sartor and Willard Sartor; his sons, James W. Sartor III and Carl David Sartor; his former wife Barbara Nell Fowler Sartor; and his brother-in-law G. E. Duke.
He is survived by: his stepson Doug Dugger (Dawn); his stepgrandchildren, DJ Dugger (Nicole), Ben Dugger (Kaycee) and Ashleigh Hinton (Joel); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Shealynn, Tylar, Ryker, Lincoln and Ben; his sister Barbara Ann Duke; his niece Camille Caughern (Dwight); his nephew Tim Duke (Toni); his great-nieces, Jessica Connella (Ryan), Lauren Thornburg (Ryan) and Kristina Maudlin (Josh); his great-nephew Adam Caughern (Megan); and also, Haylee Caughern, Adalyn Connella, Caleb Caughern, Noah Connella and Hudson Thornburg.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Gorsulowsky Funeral Home (1107 S Pine St, Vivian, LA 71082). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the NWLA Food Bank.
