It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Vernon Santos of Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Noble, Louisiana, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Santos and Lena Santos; his wife Shirley Grantham Santos; and his siblings, Joseph Paddie, Elvia Procell Paddie and Vera Santos Miller.

He is survived by: his children, Terry Santos, Mark Santos (Rene) and Jayne'Guin (Randy); his grandchildren, Chad Santos (Allison), Alyssa Ivey (Jeremy), Ashton Guin, Parker Santos and Jessica Santos; his great grandchildren, Emmy Santos, Sadie Santos, Soul Santos, Wells Santos, Grantham Ivey and Greyson Ivey; and his sister Mary Verda Santos Weldon.
