He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Bergeron and Mae Bergeron; and his brother-in-law Sonny LeRay. He is survived by: his wife Earleen Bergeron; his children, Blanche Nicole Bergeron (David Whitsell), Michele Bergeron and James "Ronnie" Bergeron, Jr. (Terri); his grandchildren, Ashley Bergeron, Audrey Bergeron, Noe Andrews, Zayin Andrews, David Durel, Jonathan Durel and Darby Arnold (Steven); and his siblings, Janet LeRay and John Kenneth Bergeron (Evelyn). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
