He was predeceased by: his former wife Virgie M. Patton; his wife Gwen Patton; his parents, Willie Patton and Velma Patton; his siblings, Warner, Edward, Eloise, Verna Lou, Marjorie, Eunice, Virginia, Dyann and Billy Joe; and his great grandchild Dalton.
He is survived by: his son Roger Sr. (Lynette); his grandchildren, Stacy (Wes), Roger Jr. (Angel) and Jeffrey (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Ashleigh (Lee), Austin (Laura), Logan, Bailey (Cole), Jace, Brody, Nik, Brilynne, Eli, Livvy and Connor; his great great grandchildren, Xander, Adaline and Blakey; and his siblings, Deloris, Shirley (Ben) and Avis.
