It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Salley Pennell in Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Bernice, Louisiana, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Jackson and Era Tubbs Salley; and her husband Tom. She is survived by: her son Jeffrey; her daughters-in-law, Elizabeth Pennell and Ninnette Kinnebrew; her grandchildren, Lindsay, Taylor Leander, Shelby, Clint Bickham, Collin, Meg Pennell, Abby Pennell and Thomas Pennell; her great grandchildren, Lawson, Leighton, Ellis Leander, Charlie Pennell, Gray and Cameron Bickham; and her cousins, Charles and Paul Salley.

Memorial donations may be made to the Broadmoor Baptist Church Weekday Preschool, 4110 Youree Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana.
