He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Jackson Wheless and Eva Mae Register; his brothers, Jimmy Wheless and John Paul Wheless; his nephew Tim Wheless; and his grandfather Jack.
He is survived by: his wife Drucilla Wheless; his children, Rev. Sam Wheless (Stephanie), Rev. Terry Wheless (Angela) and Lesa Blankenship (Tuffy); his grandchildren, Cody Wheless, Michael Blankenship (Molly), Hunter Wheless (Clara), Raymond Northcutt, Angel Savage (Greg), Levi McCormick and Zoey Wheless; and his great grandchildren, Lilly Savage, Saige Savage, James Savage, Jaxson Savage, Esther Wheless, Henry Wheless, Rylie Tippett and Hayes Hanson.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery (219 Bethel Rd, Logansport, LA 71049). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bethel Cemetery (325-661 Bethel Rd, Logansport, LA 71049).
